First Mennonite Church has been blessed with rich diversity in our congregation: many cultures, ethnicities, races, backgrounds, identities, abilities, ages, etc. So on October 27th we will celebrate “Many Peoples Sunday.” The worship service will feature songs from different cultures, and we will have a carry-in meal representing foods from around the world. The Worship Commission invites anyone who has a story, testimony, song or prayer that they would like to share from their background to please submit that idea to Ryan Ahlgrim, Christine Suders, or Don Oswald by October 20th for possible inclusion in the service. This is also a good opportunity to invite your friends to our church. Share one of our welcome cards (on the table next to the front door) and invite them to our worship service and carry-in meal on October 27th!
